Issue 4, Semester 2 DeMinimis team Dear MLM students, Some of you may have seen copies of De Minimis lying around the law school, or heard whispers of the controversies that emerge from our pages. But how much do you actually know about De Minimis? De Minimis began as the Melbourne Law School’s student magazine in 1949, from an LSS sub-committee that was tasked with “investigating the possibility of publishing fortnightly news-sheets”. The magazine went through many changes in tone and style before it abruptly ceased publication in 1976, due to lack of interest. Fortunately for us, it was revived in 2012 and has since gone from strength to strength; from a mere opinion rag to a well-regarded shit stirrer!
While the De Minimis readership has traditionally comprised the JD student cohort, De Minimis as a student paper speaks for the general student body, be they JD or Masters. Therefore, we would like to cordially invite the Masters students to become part of the De Minimis community. Read us, write for us, or come along to our events (we are having a board game-speed mooting night on the 23 rd of August – follow us on Facebook for more details)! Or, in keeping with what seems to be the mantra of the 21 st century: you can do it all! You can follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/mudeminimis/. All enquiries and submissions can be directed to us at [email protected]. Once again, we sincerely look forward to hearing from all of you! Best, The De Minimis editorial team

I am MLM alumni, I would like to inquire whether I can publish any article. Or do you require current students?
